GREAT AND USEFUL GADGET!
I ordered this product several months ago from Amazon. My husband has heart issues and he needs to avoid sodium and unhealthy fats, so I make all of our salad dressing. I was so tired of contents such as vinegar and olive oil or yogurt separating. I read about these types of mixers. I had another one that was difficult to use and broke fairly quickly.
This one is superb. It blends everything, be it a yogurt based or an oil based dressing. I love it. The container that comes with it is very attractive and can be used at the table even when company is coming. It keeps the dressing combined until I put it in the frig and then it recombines the dressing when I want to use it again.
It is very easy to clean. Just clean the beater part by hand with soap and water. They recommend not putting the jar in the dishwasher as it has Paula's salad dressing recipes on it and it says these can come off. I don't use her dressings and do not care about that. So, I put...

I had a set similiar to this one but they changed the design of the emulsifier, I stumbled on this one and I am very happy with it.

This is the second one I have purchased! I make all my salad dressing and use the mixer with my small metal bowls, the results are fantastic with all ingredients blended and perfect. The bottle has several recipes on it and can use for larger mixes or ones to use over a short period of time.This one has the control on the top of head, others require use only with their container.
