Cooks Essentials 2lb Capacity Bread Machine

Great value
I've had this bread maker for about two years and am quite happy with it. It is affordable, doesn't have unnecessary bells and whistles (but has a "dough" setting, which I really like), and is easy to use and easy to clean (although I would prefer it if the pan and blade were dishwasher safe).

The machine comes with a manual/instruction booklet that contains a good selection of recipes for a variety of 1, 1.5, and 2 lb breads and doughs.

My only real complaint is that the display is quite small and hard to read because the numbers/letters are dark grey on light grey, and the tiny markings that show which loaf size and crust color you have selected are almost impossible to see. I also find the abbreviations for the crust colors a little confusing: "L" for "light" makes sense, but I can never remember that "P" means "medium" and "H" means "dark", so I wrote them down on the front page of the recipe book. Works for me. :)

Perfect!
I replaced my Breadman Bread Machine with the Cooks Essentials. It is quiet, and makes a perfect loaf of bread. I tried the dough cycle for pizza, rye bread, white bread and a sweet bread and they were all perfect. It was inexpensive and is perfect for my needs.

Great gift
Bought this for our daughter-in-law and she loves it. Uses it all the time and the rest of the family enjoys the bread.
