Great lid seal
I made the mistake of giving my 13 year old Rival slow cooker to my grandaughter before I bought a new 3 quart Rival. Boy does that Rival boil the food on Low. Discouraged and thinking I was going to give up on slow cookers I decided to try another one. I carefully read all I could find on Hamilton Beach's 5 quart cookers. Decided on this one and I am very happy. cooked a 3 lb rump roast and was delighted with the results. My grown son raved on the flavor, etc. It was done sooner than expected, probably because the pot was not filled to 3/4. Next time I will add more veggies. I love the seal around the lid and the two vent holes. The pot is easy to clean and the color is really pretty. I would recommend this cooker to anyone. But remember do NOT lock the lid down while cooking. The locking thingamajig is for transporting only.
Great product.
I was very pleased with the product. It is very sharp looking. It works great.
I like the lid being held in place when taking it to a friend's house or a
church pitch-in. The price was just perfect.
Hamilton Beach slow cooker
Replaced a smaller cooker with this one. Only used twice at this time, seems to work just fine. Color goes with wifey's utensiles.
